Central MN Multiple Myeloma Support Group

The Central Minnesota Multiple Myeloma Support Group invites you to take part in our monthly gatherings of people living with myeloma, their caregivers, families and friends.  Our meetings provide a great opportunity to learn about the latest advances in the treatment and management of myeloma while connecting with other members of the myeloma community.   Share what you know and learn from others, we are stronger together!

Melanie Smerillo MSN, RN, PHN: Clinical Nurse Educator from Takeda will join us to discuss Velcade, Ninlaro, labs and your other Myeloma questions.

October 14
Do we already have the tools to cure Myeloma? Sue Enright, Midwest Regional Director of Support Groups for the International Myeloma Foundation will join us to discuss the Black Swan Research Initiative, the IMF’s project to develop the first definitive cure for myeloma. Sue will also give update us on what the IMF is doing to support research , educate patients, and help support groups / Open Discussion.

The meeting room is handicapped accessible. Parking is north of the building – use training room entrance.
