The Fairmont MN Area MM Support Group, founded in April, 2013, meets on the 4th Saturday of every other month from 10:00 AM to 12-noon in “The Classroom” of the Mayo Clinic Health Systems – Hospital, 800 Clinic Circle Drive, Fairmont, MN 56031. (Park on hospital side of building and enter at the main entrance. The meeting room is on the ground floor – watch for signs.)
Meetings take place from 10:00 AM to 12-n00n on the 4th Saturday of every other month.

Sanofi Journey Partner, Lynn Worthen, will join us to discuss his story about living with multiple myeloman and having an autologous stem cell transplant as well as the importance of myeloma education & resources.
We will be joined by Sue Enright, Midwest Regional Director, Support Groups for the International Myeloma Foundation
Our guest speaker will be Takeda Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator Melanie Smerillo MSN, RN, PHN, who will discuss the topic of “Living with Myeloma” including such issues as: What is multiple myeloma and how its diagnosed, Understanding the signs and symptoms of MM, Current treatments for MM, Advances in MM, and Finding support & resources.
